How can I submit my art?
Please submit your art via the PixElated Art Contest Submission Form.
What's the theme?
The theme for this contest is "The Queen Of The Forest"
What can I not submit?
Artwork that includes violence, nudity and NSFW content will automatically be disqualified. We cannot accept AI generated images. The artwork must be owned by you. Please do not submit someone else's artwork.
Can I submit more than one image?
Yes, but please do not submit more than 3 images.
What size should my pixel art be?
We will accept any size of pixel art, but individual pixels MUST be clearly visible in the majority of your artwork. If you're unsure of where to start, we would suggest a landscape image of 320x180px.
How will the winner be determined?
A public vote will determine the top 10 artworks.
The winner will then be determined by participating professional game developers and artists based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the theme.
I'm not an artist by trade, can I still submit?
Of course! We would love to encourage everyone to give pixel art a try!
How can I draw pixel art?
You can use any pixel art software like Aseprite, Piskel, or even MS Paint. There are plenty of tutorials online to get you started!
What's the winning prize?
The top ten voted artists will receive free key with access to Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode accessible on release date! (5th August 2024)
The winning artwork will be displayed on the Steam event home page as well as winning a Steam gift card worth $50.
How will my artwork be used?
When you upload your artwork to PixElated Discord it will be publicly visible to our Discord community. The winning artwork will be displayed on the PixElated Festival Steam home page, featured on the PixElated official website and shared on Brave At Night's official social media accounts. If your artwork is the winner of the contest, our team will get in touch with you to confirm how you would like to be credited.
